We’re pleased to announce that MOVUS was selected as the Startup of the Year at the Future of Mining Australia 2019 in Sydney last night. The Future of Mining conference brings together global mining leaders to share their vision of how mining will evolve and embrace emerging technology like Artificial Intelligence, IIoT, Autonomous Vehicles, and Augmented Reality.
MOVUS is proud to announce the next development in our renowned FitMachine sensor. Customers can now connect to the FitMachine via Bluetooth to configure and manage it. This is enabled using the FitMachine app, now officially available on the iTunes App Store. (Google Play Store to follow soon!)
MOVUS was founded by CEO Brad Parsons in January 2015, initially starting out of The University of Queensland’s iLab, a supporter of technologically cutting-edge entrepreneurial start-up businesses. MOVUS’ flagship product, the FitMachine, provides an end-to-end equipment monitoring solution for industrial machinery using the latest machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies.

Earlier today the MOVUS team had the pleasure of welcoming Queensland’s Minister for Innovation Kate Jones to the MOVUS office. After the official opening duties Minister Jones spoke about how proud the Government is in MOVUS – a start up success story that is also focused on remaining Queensland based for both the MOVUS team and our manufacturing partner.
I’m pleased to advise that effective today MOVUS has relocated into our new head office at 112 Bowen St, Spring Hill. The team has been growing steadily since our successful Series A raise and it was getting very tight at iLab!
